Ordering online at The Hungry Moose Market and Deli is simple!

Making an Order
- Create account or log in
- Begin Shopping. Add items to your cart from the categories to the left. If you cannot find an item, use the search feature at the top, contact us directly or add it to the comments box on your order form.
- Complete our order form providing us with your delivery information.
- Submit your order.
- You will receive an automated confirmation of your order.
- Forget about food and groceries for a while. Enjoy your trip out to Big Sky. Arrive at your vacation residence with food in the fridge, snacks on the counter and maybe a lasagna for dinner and fresh blueberry muffins for breakfast the next day.
- Place repeat orders while you are here. We will continue to deliver your groceries and/or prepared deli foods without your needing to be at home. It’s what we do.
Beer & Wine
We have an extensive selection of beer and wine. While we are unable to deliver it with your grocery order, we are happy to have it ready for you for pick-up. We will prepare your beer and wine order separately from your grocery order. You can stop by the Town Center location to pick up your order with valid ID on the day of your arrival or the following day. There is no additional fee for this service.
Our Mountain location also offers a very large selection of beer and wine. You may prefer to visit our mountain store upon arrival if you are staying in the mountain village or Moonlight Basin areas. Both of our locations are open until 10pm every day.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and Policies
When To Place Your Order
You can place your order as far in advance as you like. Prepared foods require at least 48 hours notice. For grocery orders, 24 hour notice or more is preferred. Same day orders are subject to availability and an additional $25 service fee.
The Cost Of The Service
The cost of this service is the price of your order plus a flat service/delivery fee ranging from $35 to $100 per order depending on location of your property. Service fees are listed on the order form you fill out when you complete your order.
There is an opportunity to include a voluntary gratuity. Gratuities are shared by our Grocery, Deli, Central Kitchen and Delivery staff. All gratuities are greatly appreciated.
Access To Your Property
We have longstanding, established relationships with all of the local Resorts, Clubs and Property Management Companies in Big Sky. With the information you provide on your order form, we confirm with the Property Manager, Resort or Club exactly where you are staying and your arrival date in order to access your property and deliver your groceries and/or prepared foods directly into your kitchen.
If your property is a private home or rented directly through a rental service or owner, please provide access information in the comments box such as contact information for property manager or a lock box code.
Your Arrival Time
For arrival day deliveries, we ask you to provide your estimated time of arrival to Big Sky. We always do our best to deliver your order before you arrive however high volume delivery days, back to back arrivals and departures, early check-in times may mean you arrive before your groceries. Please feel free to call us when you arrive for the estimated time of delivery.
Ordering When Already In Big Sky
If you are already in your Big Sky residence when ordering, please note that on the order form. We can still access your property and deliver your order while you are out enjoying Big Sky. Please note same day orders are subject to availability and an additional $25 service fee.
With enough notice, we may be able to get you an item not listed in our inventory. Please contact us any time with your special requests, with regard to items you may not see on our website or for large volume orders such as wine by the case which would be available for pickup.
Substitutions And Return Policy
The grocery business is dynamic and dependent on many outside factors beyond our control. Occasionally we may make minor, appropriate substitutions in order to fill your order. Your itemized receipt will tell you exactly what was delivered and may on occasion differ slightly from what you ordered. We guarantee all of our products. Returns and/or refunds for all food and beverage items must be done within 48 hours of purchase with a copy of your receipt.
Charges To Your Credit Card For Your Order
Your card will not be charged until the day your order is shopped and delivered. In the age of credit card protection, we encourage you to alert your bank about travel to Montana and/or approve the sale when you receive an alert. If your card is declined, we will contact you by phone or text. An itemized receipt will be left on the counter with your dry goods.
Any information you submit via our shopping cart (including credit card number, name and address) is encrypted via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, the industry standard for secure commerce transactions.
The information we collect via our shopping cart and order form is used to process your transaction. We may occasionally notify you of updates to our services and/or policies via e-mail. We do not share any personal information with third-parties, except as required by law.
